Canceling Current Payroll Service

Below is the email for what you will want to say to send to (Previous Payroll Provider) (ADP). You are fine to just copy and paste this in another email thread. Just keep in mind that even though you send them this email you will want to keep your eye out for an email they will send you asking about service termination. Usually, it is just an email or a PDF that will ask a few questions. When you receive this, you will want to send it to me as soon as possible and let me fill it out. Once I fill it out, I will send it back to you for you to send into ADP.
I would also make sure you save a copy of the email you send to them for your record in case they file things wrong it will protect you. You will want to send this for each entity they have processed payroll for. And make sure you keep emailing them until you get a response from them.
To Whom It May Concern (ADP or Payroll service provider)
We have currently decided to switch payroll providers to a PEO service. We have chosen to make this decision so that we can offer some additional benefits to our employees and be able to combine all our software’s into one. Can you please make sure you file all our quarterly returns 940, and 941s and mark them as final for all the payroll you have processed for us from January 1 to date. In submitting these filings can you please make sure you mark them as final returns so that it will close our withholding numbers. We will also need to make sure you send out and file the W-2,s for all the employees for any payroll ADP has processed for the (2022) year.
