Follow These Steps to Approve a Missed Punch in Time and Labor:
1. Sign into your Manager User Portal in the Time & Labor System. You can do this by either selecting the Time & Labor button in your favorites section of the Prism portal or going to the unique Time & Labor link for your company that was given to you in the Time & Labor app instructions.
2. Once you are on the "My Dashboard" page in Time & Labor, go to the "Missed Punches" widget in the middle of the page. This will show you all of the missed punches that need to be approved.
3. To approve any of the hours in that list, select the check mark with a circle around it and that will approve that missed punch for that employees time sheet entry.
4. If you would like to view that time sheet entry of that missed punch further or make any edits to that missed punch, select the "Jump to Group Hours" button to view those hours in more detail.
5. Once at the Group Hours page. Select the period of "Open Weeks" and select the Update button.
6. This will show you all of the Missed Punches that need to be approved. You can double click on any time sheet entry and make any changes needed to make the hours correct. If no changes need to be made move on to the next step.
7. Once all hours are correct and you are ready to approve the time sheet entry. Select the furthest box to the left of that time sheet entry and then select the button called "Exceptions" at the top of the page.
8. Once you push the "Exceptions" button it will open a drop down list of approvals and un-approvals. Move the Missed In Punch and/or Missed Out Punch radio button from unapprove to approve.
9. Once the radio button is moved over to the approve side. Select the "Apply" button which will remove the flag and approve that missed punch for that time sheet entry.
